Person Specification
The Person Specifications describe the knowledge, skills and attributes that are required in order for a candidate to be successful in their application to a programme or training scheme.
The document is broken down into essential and desirable attributes, and usually states whether this will be extracted from the application form or from the interview and these are the only criteria against which applicants can be assessed.
The criteria must be specific, measurable and justifiable in relation to the job requirements and not be unnecessarily restrictive. You can find the nationally agreed specification at the bottom of this page. All of the 2013 Person Specifications can also be viewed on the MMC website.
The forms will allow the candidates to present their clinical and academic experiences and other information that will allow the shortlisting committee to review the application forms.
