Choosing posts / sub-preferencing in UK Offers

Sub-preferencing

Sub-preferencing of posts will take place in the separate UK Offers system once applications close. Candidates will be sent a login and will have two weeks in which to activate their account.

The ranking of your preferences, along with your overall interview ranking, determine how offers are made and is therefore a very important step in the process.

You must decide what posts you would be willing to take as you may receive an offer for any sub-preference that you move to either the ‘Preferenced’ or ‘No Preference’ section.

If you do not wish to be considered for a post, move that preference to the ‘Not Wanted’ section.

Post details are subject to change over the recruitment period. When changes occur to post information, the National Recruitment Office will update the website and inform all candidates via email.

Candidates can change their preferences up to date required. No changes can be made after this time and there will be no exception.

How to preference posts

1. Log in to your UK Offers account

2. Select the ’Sub-preference’ tab in the top right hand corner

3. Move your chosen sub-preferences in order of how you would like to be considered to the ‘Preferenced’ section

4. If you do not wish to be considered, move that preference to the ‘Not Wanted’ section

NB: You may be offered any sub-preference that is left in the ‘No Preference’ section
